Our second endeavor was a series of three Sunday gatherings. Our meetings brought us together, for an opportunity to open the windows and doors of our minds and our hearts by participating in honest dialogue about the Clergy Sexual Abuse Scandal in the Roman Catholic Church.
Many invitations were extended to local theologians, survivors of clerical sexual abuse, priests, psychiatrists, local law enforcement, survivor's representatives and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Our goal then and now continues to focus on assisting the local lay faithful in understanding the depth of the problem. Thank you to St. Michael and All Angeles Episcopal Church in Studio City for generously providing a meeting place.
